Community Action Network

Welcome to the Community Action Network (CAN), a community empowering initiative by the Organization Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA).

Our aim is to bring local communities together, organise them, and help them coordinate their efforts to drive meaningful change in their local municipalities through a collective voice. We believe that every community has the potential to make a difference, and we’re here to provide the tools and support they need to do just that. By working together, we can make a positive impact not only in our own communities but also beyond them.

Community Action Network in a Nutshell

CAN has two primary focus areas, each geared towards empowering local community organisations to create lasting change. Firstly, we provide tools and support to help your  organisations become more efficient with it’s administrative and community tasks. This includes membership management, membership fee collection, communication tools, and even a dedicated website for your organisation. By streamlining these essential tasks, we free up your time and resources, allowing you to focus on your core mission.

Our second focus is on bringing local community organisations together and facilitating networking between them. By collaborating and sharing resources, these organizations can amplify their impact and address issues at a local level more effectively. As part of the OUTA network, we also use our collective voice to advocate for change on a broader scale.

Whether you’re an established community organization or just starting out, CAN is here to help you achieve your goals. Join us and become part of a powerful network of changemakers dedicated to creating a better future for all.
